Undergraduate Research Fellowship students investigate reducing the spread of the invasive European Green Crab larvae when shipping oyster seed to new farms and markets.

Today we received notice of not one, but TWO publications arising from undergraduate research conducted during summer and fall course activities here at BMSC!

Leya Tess Anderson is the artist behind the beautiful videos featuring our 2019 summer field courses.

Kaitlin will be joining the BMSC in August under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Cameron (Université de Montréal) to study the sea lice of Pacific salmon, and whales.

Shannon Mendt, a Masters student from Thompson Rivers University, is investigating the effect that energy reserves have on the mortality of juvenile intertidal invertebrates.

Today we were informed that Tomonari Kaji, a BMSC researcher and friend, has unexpectedly passed away.
