BMSC Job posting: Aquatic Research & Animal Care Technician
The Aquatic Research and Animal Care technician will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day provision of research services and the ethical care of animals used in research.
BMSC enters into an historic agreement with the Huu-ay-aht First Nations to build a modern wastewater treatment plant in Bamfield, B.C.
The project encapsulates the shared vision and values of the Huu-ay-aht First Nations and the BMSC to promote the health and development of the community while reducing the impact of wastewater to protect the local marine environment.

BC Gov’t is partnering with Huu-ay-aht First Nations to upgrade the Anacla/Bamfield Road
The Premier John Horgan and Huu-ay-aht Chief Councillor Robert J. Dennis Sr. announce that the province is partnering with Huu-ay-aht First Nations in support of a $30.7 million dollar investment to upgrade the Anacla/Bamfield Road.
Although the BMSC campus is currently closed, you can still experience a virtual field trip!
Our Education Team will be providing online virtual field trips from September to December, 2020.
