We are beyond thrilled to announce that we are starting renovations to our touch tanks in the Whale Lab.
This means that the Whale Lab will be completely closed until September. But, it will be well worth it.
BMSC’s touch tanks provide an invaluable experience to our students and guests by allowing them to interact with local intertidal organisms in a hands-on, safe, and gentle way.
These renovations are made possible thanks to generous donors that helped us raise over $25,000. Many of these donations were made in honour of our late colleague, Lee Weber.
Check back in the fall to see our brand new touch tanks. We can’t wait to share them with you!
