2026 Summer Teaching Staff – Additional Information

Housing

Instructors teaching at the BMSC this summer will stay in private rooms in our on-site cabins. Specific details of the cabin accommodations are discussed during planning meetings with the UP Coordinators.
Teaching Assistants will stay in the Seaside Dormitory, alongside other TAs, seasonal BMSC staff, and researchers. The Seaside Dormitory is a co-ed dormitory building featuring shared, same-gender rooms and shared bathroom facilities.

Meal Plan and Dietary Restrictions

Meals are served three times a day at our on-site cafeteria. Instructional staff are provided complimentary lunches in the cafeteria and may purchase other meals at a reduced staff rate. Our cafeteria offers three meal plans: meat, vegetarian, and vegan.
Please indicate your choice of meal plan below. You will be expected to take the food prepared for the plan you selected at all meals. You may change to a different meal plan at a later time if needed.

Our cafeteria is a peanut-free facility, and staff are happy to provide dairy-free and gluten-free food. However, the BMSC is unable to guarantee support for other life-threatening, anaphylactic, airborne allergies, and cannot guarantee that the BMSC cafeteria is free from cross-contamination of allergens.

The BMSC may request that dietary restrictions be accompanied by a note from a doctor. If your dietary restrictions are for religious reasons, please mention that here.
