Fall Program Alumni collaborate on undergraduate publication

We are very proud of our BMSC 2019 Fall Program Alumni, Veronica Aguiar, Jessica Desforges, Elizabeth Oishi and Jordan Stewart, publishing results arising from their Directed Studies independent research.

They examined the effects of perceived competition and water temperature on the functional responses of the invasive European green crab, Carcinus maenas, and the native graceful rock crab Metacarcinus gracilis.

Their study was recently published in Marine Ecology Progress Series, with co-authors and mentors Dr. Isabelle Côté (SFU), and Fall Program Alumni Brett Howard (2008) & Dickson Wong (2014).
