Tao Eastham
Tao holds a BSc with distinction from the University of Victoria and a Masters in Resource Management from Simon Fraser University where he studied contaminants in aquatic food webs (supported by a prestigious NSERC Industrial Postgraduate Graduate Scholarship). His extensive work experience has prepared him well for his current role, ranging from technical positions in the environmental sciences and consulting to a BMSC hat trick of sorts – incl. multiple teaching roles in Education (2010-2018), Special Projects Coordinator (2016-2019) and as Acting Research Coordinator (2009; 2020). Reporting to the Director, the Head of Research Services is responsible for facilitating research initiatives and services while enabling strategic research collaborations and long-term project planning that supports our 2023 mission.
