Dr. Heather Alexander
Heather first came to BMSC as an undergraduate student in 1988. As a graduate student, she conducted the field work for her MSc degree at BMSC. She earned her PhD from Simon Fraser University where she examined population divergence and sexual isolation of natural guppy populations across North East South America.
Heather has had numerous roles at BMSC; as a graduate student, teaching assistant and instructor for summer and fall university courses, was the University Programs Coordinator for several years, and developed earlier versions of the BMSC website. She is currently the BMSC Communications Manager and University Programs Coordinator.
