Bamfield Research Internships
The Bamfield Research Internship program links senior undergraduate students and recent graduates with scientist-mentors as collaborators in marine science research projects.
The BRI program offers a full immersion research experience for participants, with the option of receiving university credit through a Directed Studies course (at the discretion of the intern’s BRI mentor). By linking interns with marine scientists in a hands-on research experience, interns will learn both the process and the substance of scientific research. BRI opportunities will be available throughout the summer from June 10th to August 9th, with individual internships lasting for three or six weeks within this period.
